Representative Pham passed a bipartisan bill that expands education and training opportunities for Oregonians who want to pursue careers in Oregon’s semiconductor industry and invested $10 million across 6 of Oregon’s universities and community colleges. With billions of dollars coming into the district, this bill brought in will increase the number of low-barrier, family wage jobs, prioritize our historically marginalized communities, and bolster our workforce training programs that will benefit the state for years to come. Representative Pham has worked with our cities to bring significant investments that will transform our communities, including $2.5 million for South Cooper Mountain’s Purple Pipe Project for the City of Beaverton. The program conserves clean water by utilizing cleaned storm water for our parks, yards, and school grounds. The Purple Pipe program works toward the community’s long-term goals of creating a reliable and sustainable water supply.

Representative Pham has hosted many town halls and constituent coffees around the district, including a Veteran Listening Session for Washington County veterans. The goal was to better understand the needs and concerns of the brave individuals who served our country. With this type of collaboration he can deliver policies that can help our communities.

Representative Pham is a strong supporter of Special Olympics Oregon. Special Olympics Oregon brings year-round sports training and competition to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Through the challenges and triumphs of real competition, athletes experience life-changing opportunities to improve physical fitness, learn everyday life skills and connect more closely to their communities.

Representative Pham believes in partnering with our law enforcement to get the resources and training they need to keep our communities safe. He is a strong advocate for mental health resources, addressing gaps in safety, and voted in support of funding critically needed behavioral health crisis response systems.

Representative Pham directly works with our most medically compromised, underserved, and vulnerable pediatric patients in Oregon. He understands firsthand what access to quality, affordable care can do for kids and their families.

Representative Pham brings many years of experience in healthcare and dentistry to help advocate for children and families living in poverty. The Children’s Cabinet is made up of leading experts in many fields from health, housing, human services, early learning, and more. Working collaboratively, the Cabinet has identified the highest priority concerns and existing gaps in services for working families and their children.

Representative Pham serves on the Board of Directors of the Dental Foundation of Oregon. The Tooth Taxi provides free dental care from a dental van all around Oregon. Dr. Pham has been providing free dental care to children and adults all over Oregon since 2006. He has also traveled to Romania to provide care for children in orphanages.

Representative Pham was appointed by Governor Brown to serve on the Oregon Board of Dentistry. As a board member he worked hard to help keep Oregonians safe.
